Why does    deserve to win?
"Steph is a HUGE soccer enthusiast, and was active in various Portland rec leagues. Now a new wife and a new mom trying to make ends meet in a sucky economy, she hasn't had the time nor means to attend a game since Timbers went MLS. She'd FRICKEN LOVE IT, AND totally deserves it."
Why does    deserve to win?
"Blessing from Zimbabwe, Africa and is staying in Portland after a 13 hour surgery to repair his face after a detonator exploded in his mouth. Operation of Hope, non profit all volunteer surgical team is nominating Blessing as he's never see a soccer game in the United States! GT!"
Why does    deserve to win?
"Omar Medina is a recent graduate of George Fox University (Newberg) where he played soccer and got a degree in social work. He has been in Thailand for the past couple of months volunteering in orphanages. He is a huge Timbers fan and one of the most giving people I know. RCTID!"
Why does    deserve to win?
"Kaitlyn is one of your biggest fans and has never been able to go to a game. She is the most spirited person you'd ever meet. Kaitlyn works with adults with disabilities and doesn't make much money and really deserves this for all she does for everyone in her life"
Why does    deserve to win?
"My friend Cori would do anything for family and friends. Cori’s sister went missing in Jan. She never gave up hope. Searching day & night.Thankfully, she was found! Cori is a big timber fan! I know if picked she would take her sister & it would be a memory to last a lifetime."
Why does    deserve to win?
"Because he has Down syndrome, Matthew has never been able to master the foot skills needed to be a player but he is an awesome fan! He has spent countless hours on the sidelines cheering on his brother's team and he deserves to use those skills to root for the big guys!"
Why does   Karina  deserve to win?
"Karina battled leukemia at age 4, and is currently in remission. She met Timber Jim through the Leukemia Foundation. She's never been to a Timbers game, so she's very excited for her first match! (Karina and her family were selected as one of our initial recipients for our home opener on March 3.)"
Why does   George  deserve to win?
"Sonko is from Kenya, where he grew up playing soccer. Soccer is a huge part of his life. In a few weeks he's heading back to Kenya to check in with friends and family. He currently works for Portland City United Soccer Club. (Sonko was selected as one of our initial recipients for our home opener on March 3.)"
